Duffy Compliance Services, LLC Provides DOD Contractors with the Solution to Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

Duffy Compliance Services, LLC, (DCS), a provider

of security assessment and compliance services, has just launched an enhanced service to

support the new mandate of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

contracts to implement the Protection of Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal

Information Systems and Organizations.

In December 2015, the Department of Defense (DOD) made it mandatory for contractors

and their subcontractors to protect all DOD Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

starting as soon as practical. GSA and NASA contractors are required to achieve basic

cybersecurity starting by June 15, 2016.

“We are excited to have this capability available for our community.” said President and

CEO Shawn Duffy. “Both contractors and subcontractors will need to meet this mandate in

order to continue to work on DOD contracts. Prime Contractors will appreciate our

enterprise management application to maintain their subcontractors’ compliance status as

well. We provide a total turn-key solution.”
