Senior Compliance Auditor
Job Description:
We are seeking Senior Compliance Auditors for our growing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, ethical, and detail-oriented professional who thrives both independently and in a collaborative setting. This is a part-time, 1099 contract position with potential to grow into full-time W2 employment. These roles offer a clear path to advancement within our organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- ZMust be familiar with NIST SP 800 Security Controls such as in FISMA, CUI, or HIPAA
- ZMust have strong verbal and written communication skills
- ZMust have experience in network and information security
- ZMust have solid organizational and multitasking skills
- ZMust be dedicated to providing deliverables on time
- ZExperience with network security architecture
- ZExperience in ISO 27000 or 28000 a plus
Certifications:
Certification from CAICO (Certified Assessment and Instructor Certification Organization, now administered by ISACA), such as CCP (Certified CMMC Professional) or CCA (Certified CMMC Assessor)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Additional Requirements:
- ZMust be eligible to work in the U.S. and capable of obtaining a government security clearance if needed.
- ZMust be comfortable working remotely and independently with minimal supervision.
- ZAbility to commit 10–25 hours per month, with flexibility for increased hours during active assessments or client engagements.
- ZReliable internet connection and a secure work environment.
- ZCommitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and high-quality client service.
Engagement Terms:
- ZType: 1099 Contractor
- ZRate: ~$70–$90/hour, based on experience and engagement size
- ZSchedule: Part-time, with opportunity for increased workload or full-time transition
- ZLocation: Primarily remote; must be able to travel to client sites in MD, DC, PA, DE, and OH as needed
